The Climate Change Agents project is developing a playful educational programme on the topic of saving energy. The comic strip ‘Eddie the Curious Electron’ provides the basis for the teaching unit for primary school pupils in years 3 and 4. The comic and the accompanying learning material focus on energy consumption in households. The pupils act as energy detectives in the comic story, which leads them to various energy consumers in the home. The pupils analyse the energy consumption in the households, whereby the families are also involved. The material provides extensive tips suitable for everyday use in child-friendly language on how energy consumption can be reduced.

The pilot phase of the project is being carried out in cooperation with the Sternschanze primary school in Hamburg.
