The Climate Agents project has developed a game-based educational format on the topic of energy saving. The picture story ‘Eddie the curious electron’ forms the basis of the teaching unit for primary school pupils in years 3 and 4. The picture story and accompanying learning materials focus on energy consumption in households. The pupils take on the role of energy detectives in the picture story, which leads them to various energy consumers in their private lives. The pupils analyse energy consumption in households, involving their families in the process. The material provides comprehensive tips in child-friendly language on how energy consumption can be reduced in everyday life.
