Film series for the Goethe-Institut
How is climate change addressed in film? To what extent can films raise awareness of this issue? The Goethe-Institut, in collaboration with ECOMOVE International, has compiled 13 feature-length and short films from various European countries for the film series Klima.Kultur.Wandel (Climate.Culture.Change), which examine the causes of the climate crisis and highlight some possible solutions. The film package is being used worldwide as part of the Goethe-Institut’s cultural programme. The films are available on DVD in the Goethe-Institut’s film archives, where they can be borrowed and ordered.
In addition to the film series, a list of recommendations on the topic of climate change has been compiled, which includes other films worth watching. This list contains over 40 films from all over the world (including Brazil, Mexico, the USA, India and Russia).
