ECOMOVE is developing an educational manual with innovative project examples from countries in the Global South on the topics of climate protection and biodiversity. At the same time, the project shows how these examples can be transformed into our society. This educational manual gives students new insights into forward-looking examples from countries and cultures in the Global South that are implementing effective climate and environmental projects with low living standards and simple means. The aim is to motivate students to develop their own ideas on climate change and biodiversity protection with simple steps and to commit to them in their own lives.
The concept of the educational manual is being developed in collaboration with educators and climate and development experts, ensuring that it can be implemented in schools in a professional and user-friendly manner. Extensive research also provides comprehensive background material that is difficult to access via the media in Germany.
