ECOMOVE has developed an educational manual with innovative project examples from countries in the Global South on the topics of climate protection and biodiversity. The project highlights how these examples can be transformed in our society. The educational manual aims to broaden perspectives on the Global South and playfully illustrate how innovative people in Asia, Central and South America and on the African continent are protecting the climate and biodiversity. At the heart of the manual is a game entitled ‘Learning from the South’.
This educational manual provides pupils with new insights into forward-looking examples from countries and cultures in the Global South that are implementing effective climate and environmental projects with a different standard of living and simple means. The aim is to motivate pupils to develop their own ideas on climate change and biodiversity protection with simple steps and to apply them in their own everyday lives.
